WRL attend AECOM's 2024 LWD Correlation Trials

This week our team attended the 2024 LWD correlation trials in Nottingham for the first time, an event supported by National Highways and Transport Scotland.

Why This Matters

LWDs used on National Highways and Transport Scotland projects need to be tested annually to ensure they give accurate and reliable measurements. This helps avoid expensive, project-specific tests and keeps everything in line with industry standards.

What We Did

Our Quality Supervisor and Laboratory Manager tested our LWD at AECOM's Pavement Test Facility. The results will be compared with a pre-calibrated device to ensure our equipment meets the required standards.

Looking Ahead

Once approved, our LWD will be certified for use on key projects, allowing us to deliver precise, high-quality measurements to our clients.
